Incident Control Systems, LLC Announces Delivery of Vehicle Armor Systems for Remotely Operated Ground Vehicles to the MOVES Institute at the US Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.

Incident Control Systems multi hit solution out performs at dramatically lower weight.

New Bedford, MA, November 11, 2012: Incident Control Systems, LLC (ICS) announced today that it has delivered Vehicle Armor Systems to the Naval Postgraduate School featuring Revolution Armor.  The complete robotic systems are being fielded immediately.

“To be selected for this program, this is a significant milestone for Revolution Armor, specifically for our latest design called Revolution Flex.  To date we have designed and provided armor solutions for a number of platforms in the Light & Medium Tactical Vehicle family, including the JLTV, HMMWV and the ASV,” said ICS Vice President of Programs Mike LoBue.

Revolution Armor is a high-strength steel that features extremely pure alloying elements creating a high performance Ultra High Hard Steel plate.  ICS then works the steel through a patent-pending proprietary process to improve the material properties of this class of armored steels.  The armor design incorporates all of the lightweight performance benefits of advanced military armors, but without their high procurement and lifecycle costs.
