Jim brings three decades of business and finance management skills to the RA team. A seasoned entrepreneur, Jim is using his experience in all phases of business development to help increase profitability by growing the core business, identifying new customer sub-segments and increasing the company’s capabilities.
Mike has over a decade of experience using and working within the armor industry. He has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Mike began his career as a Rotary and Fixed Wing Naval Aviator. After separating from the service in 2006, he joined the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) as an intelligence programs specialist. He soon took over as the Program Developer and Tenet Lead for JIEDDO’s Mitigate Team. During his tenure in this position Mike oversaw R&D programs for the development of EFP Defeat Armor Systems for Light and Medium Wheeled Vehicles and programs to counter Large Underbody Blast IEDs. After leaving JIEDDO in 2008, Mike spent several years at a private armor company as the Vehicle Armor Program Manager.
Byron has more than 10 years experience in the armor industry having worked for Hughes Aircraft where he supported the airline industry with the in-board avionics for Lockheed McDonald Douglas, Airbus and Boeing.
Byron is responsible for ICS’s armor product design from concept through prototype. Byron ensures armor testing and qualification processes meet standards prior to production. He has created complete armor drawing packages for numerous combat and law enforcement vehicles and designed dozens of armor solutions, many of which are in theater today.
